What Is the US/CA/UK Phone Number Package?

The Phone Number Package includes data, a local phone number, and supports calls and text messages. It’s perfect for staying connected locally in the US, Canada, or the UK.


How Can I Call or Message With My Package?


Where Can I Find My Phone Number?

Your phone number is displayed in the “My Data Plans” section in Textr eSIM mobile app and website after activation.


How Does Calling Work With This Package?

You can make outgoing calls to local numbers and receive incoming calls from any region, adhering to the Fair Usage Policy, during the package's validity.


How Does Texting (SMS/MMS) Work?

Send a specified number of texts to local numbers and receive unlimited incoming messages from any region, adhering to the Fair Usage Policy, during the package’s validity.


Can I Use My Phone Number to Receive SMS Verification Codes?

Yes, you can receive SMS verification codes for most services. However, we cannot guarantee successful reception in all cases.

  • Recommendation: For guaranteed OTP reception, use Textr Go’s US Cell Phone Plan (phone number only, no data).

When Will My Phone Number Be Ready for Use?

Your phone number activates when you arrive at your destination and enable the plan in the Textr eSIM app. You can set up your eSIM/SIM before your trip but keep it disabled until then.


What Happens to My Phone Number When My Data Plan Expires?

  • Your local number, calling, and texting services stop when the data plan is depleted, even if the validity period hasn’t ended.
  • To keep your number, repurchase and activate the package for the same destination within 7 days of expiry. If not, the number may be reallocated and cannot be reassigned.

Can I Access Call and Message History After Plan Expiry?

You can still view your history in the Textr eSIM app, but it cannot be exported or backed up outside the app.


Does the App Offer Additional Features?

The app doesn’t support voicemail, call forwarding, or group texting, but it does include a block feature to manage unwanted calls or messages.


How Can I Use My Contact List to Make Calls or Send Messages?

The Textr eSIM app syncs with your device’s contact list, enabling you to make calls or send messages effortlessly from within the app.
