Adding a new device when purchasing a data plan with Textr eSIM is a straightforward process.
For new users:
By default, you will be using a new device when you purchase a Textr eSIM data plan.
Select your desired Textr eSIM data plan and proceed to the Check Out process.
In Step 1, take a moment to review the precautions for using eSIM.
Moving on to Step 2, you will be assigned the default name "Device 1". You can easily edit the device's name after the purchase or during the checkout process.
Complete the checkout process by providing the necessary information and making the payment.
For returning users:
If you're purchasing a new eSIM data plan for a device other than your primary one or for someone else's device, you may want to add a new device.
Select your desired Textr eSIM data plan and proceed to the "Check Out" page.
In the "Select a Device" section, select "Add a New Device".
Enter the name of the new device and click "Next Step" to proceed.
Complete the checkout process and make the payment.
Once you have successfully purchased the data plan, you can proceed with installing the eSIM on your desired device. If you need guidance on how to install the eSIM, please refer to our eSIM Installation Guide, which provides instructions for both iPhone and Android devices.
If you wish to share the eSIM with someone else for installation, follow these additional steps:
Capture screenshots of the QR code and activation code associated with the eSIM.
Share these screenshots with the recipient.
Guide them through the installation process using the instructions provided in our eSIM Installation Guide.
Please note that an eSIM can only be associated with one device.
By following these steps, you will be able to effortlessly add a new device and activate the purchased data plan using Textr eSIM.
