When you purchase a data plan with Textr eSIM, the primary device refers to the device you initially set up with the eSIM and activate the plan on. If you want to change the name of your primary device or any other device associated with your Textr eSIM account, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in to your Textr eSIM account and go to the "My Data Plans" section.

  2. Locate the device for which you want to change the name.

  3. Click on the pen icon next to the device's current name.

  4. Enter the desired name for the device.

  5. Click "Save" to apply the changes.

 

Feel free to update the names of both your primary device and any additional devices in your account. This allows you to personalize and easily identify your devices.

It's important to note that changing the device's name in the "My Data Plans" section is purely cosmetic. It does not affect the functionality or usage of your Textr eSIM data plans. This feature is provided solely for organizational purposes, enabling you to personalize the names of your devices within your account.
